Install a wheelchair-accessible loop trail to connect
visitor's
center, pool/playground, upper soccer field, tennis courts &
swimming pool (Fall '08)
Build a pavilion at the Group Camp area with a fireplace
and grill (June '08)
Develop a hiking/horse trail along the perimeter of the
Kidwell Ridge Islands (Aug. '08)
Develop and construct a bike/hike trail in the Rice Knob
area (Aug. 08)
Construct a backcountry campsite on the island at Kidwell
Ridge (Nov. '08)
Long-Term (3-5
Years):
Construct an Environmental Education Center that
is completely sustainable and energy-efficient
Identify important parcels of land and acquire for the
park
